A Bit About Me
Beverly has been a SOTL for over 10 years and was introduced to cigars by a fellow brtoher of the leaf who happens to be a Master Mason, as Beverly herself is an Eastern Star.
Her first experience with cigars were a couple of infused ones but that didn't last long because she realized that her palate loved Cubans, Habanos, and especially maduros. She usually enjoys a couple of Connecticuts as well, but she has yet to aquire a taste for them. Beverly usually smokes at cigar lounges near where se lives.
She truly enjoys smoking with a small company of smokers/friends, and she also enjoys pairing her cigars with Brandy, Scotch, Bourbon, and wine. Beverly always gives others respect while indulging on her delights.
Business Experience
Beverly is a retired educator and also an army veteran. Through her experience, she brings wisdom and knowledge to the forum. She is an active member of Top Ladies Of Distinction (TOLD) , Diamond Heritage of Houston, Tx. TLOD is a national professional, humanitarian, and Nonprot organization whose main goals are to: Enhance the Status of Women, Enriching the Lives of Senior Citizens, Top Teens of America with scholarships to further their education, Community Beautication and Community Partnerships.
They support Breast Cancer Awareness, The March of Dimes, and many more Nonprot organizations through walks, fundraisers, and whatever the need may be. Her main goal will always be empowering females so that they prosper in society with equality and no stereotypes. She loves being a part of SOTLs and other cigar groups where she feels welcomed. Her belief is that whether they are acionadas or acionados we're all sisters and brothers of the leaf and she loves them all regardless.
