Danays Leon

Born and raised in Cuba, The Countess of Sperlinga, Danays León P. di Sperlinga is a cigar passionate.

 

 

She has an International Bartender Certification from IBA, and she is member for both the Association of Bartenders and the Culinary Association of Cuba.

 

In the cigar world, apart from co-owning Sperlinga Tobacco, she’s a Certified Habanos Sommelier, as well as IACS Master Cigar Sommelier.

Danays is an associate professor for the Branch School of the Ministry of Tourism in Cuba for the courses of Sommeliers and Habanos Sommeliers.

​

She is a Certified IACS Instructor and designated IACS Ambassador for Europe, as well as collaborating writer for Excelencias Gourmet magazine and Cigar Specialist magazine from China.
